Directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne and produced by Melissa Cobb. The film was produced by DreamWorks Animation studio in California.
The film stars the voice of Jack Black as the panda AKA PO , and other voices of Ductin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan and many more.
Set in ancient China, the plot revolves around a fat panda who aspires to be a Kung Fu Master. After a much feared ex-disciple is prophesied to escape from prison, Po is foretold to be a Dragon Warrior By the head of the temple which is much to his shock and surprise.
It is said that, the computer animation in the film was more complex than anything DreamWork had done before.

Awards
Kung Fu Panda was nominated fir the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, but dint win. It won 11 awards at the Annie Awards which includes The Best Picture
